PRESIDENT OF THE TURKISH GRAND NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, PROF. DR. MUSTAFA ŞENTOP VISITED OUR UNIVERSITY

The President of the Turkish Grand Assembly, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop visited the International Balkan University оn 21st December 2020, during his official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the Day of Education in Turkish Language which is officially celebrated by the Turkish ethnic community in North Macedonia.

President Şentop was welcomed by the President of the Management Board, Mr. Ajdovan Ademoski and Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem, accompanied by members of the Foundation for Education and Culture “ÜSKÜP”. During the meeting in the Senate Hall of the university, Rector Erdem shared information on the ongoing educational process at IBU, as well as noted the all-field growth of the university even in times of a global pandemic. President Şentop congratulated the university management for the continuous success and underlined the importance of the role that IBU plays in educating the new generations of North Macedonia, the Balkan region and Turkey.
